Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in teletherapy services within a K-12 school setting. This contract position supports students with moderate to severe speech and language needs through both direct and indirect therapy approaches.
Location: Palm Springs, CA
Duration: Continuous School Year (CSY)
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering teletherapy speech-language services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborating with onsite contracted paraprofessional facilitators to enhance student outcomes
- Managing a caseload primarily consisting of moderate to severe speech and language disorders
- Providing both direct individual and indirect group therapy sessions as required
Qualifications and experience:
- Valid California Teaching Credential (CTC) in Speech-Language Pathology, with an active Credential of Compliance (COC) and cleared fingerprinting through the CTC
- Experience delivering teletherapy and telespeech services in educational settings
- Ability to work full-time hours and effectively manage a teletherapy caseload
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educational staff
